Please join the Putnam County Democratic Committee as we welcome Shannon Wong, Chapter Director, Lower Hudson Valley, NYCLU, who will provide an overview of their advocacy priorities, explain the legislative process and discuss ways to get involved.

The topics we will discuss are:

• Ensuring quality public defense
• Protecting reproductive freedom
• Fighting hate, discrimination and harmful government action, protecting privacy
• Protecting New Yorkers, including immigrants, Muslims, LGBTQ people, minorities and students in public schools

This event is free and open to the public. Parking is limited, so please car pool if possible.
