Philipstown Town Board Monthly Meeting for April, 2017

Of particular interest at this meeting is Item 16, Resolution Declaring Philipstown A Sanctuary Town.  This resolution addresses support for giving Philipstown residents equal protection under the law regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or immigration status.  The City of Beacon passed a similar resolution earlier this week, joining over 200 cities, towns and counties nationwide in support of treating our neighbors with basic human decency.
