Re-elect Philipstown Supervisor Richard Shea on November 5!
Even if you haven't been to Town Hall recently, you've probably seen Richard Shea biking, hiking or running. The force that is our Philipstown Supervisor is always on the move. He may be fighting for us in court, on the scene of an important event or running our local government. For the citizens of Philipstown, regardless of party, Shea is the picture of dedication, unity and leadership. We're proud and lucky to have him at the helm of Philipstown.
Richard has been at the center of all the important initiatives undertaken by Philipstown government, including protective zoning and the Climate Smart Communities, which he is most proud of. Richard has brought a democratic approach between our citizenry and local government, always reaching out and including the community.
Although he deserves a great deal of credit for the good, clean government at Town Hall, he is quick to give others credit. "The people who work for Philipstown are always there for our residents and provide great service," he says.
Always thinking ahead, Shea wants to get more young people involved in the future of Philipstown. He also says better succession planning is needed for vital personnel and there needs to be more concentration on town infrastructure.
It's a good thing we'll have him for another term as there is no challenger for Supervisor. But he'll be on the ballot and as he's served as a Supervisor for all, he deserves all of our votes.
Please vote to re-elect our Town Supervisor Richard Shea!
